TrapTrackerRT is a real-time wildlife monitoring app that automatically pulls camera-trap images from Gmail, runs AI species detection, and organises results into a searchable detections viewer. Designed for use with Reolink Go 4G camera traps, it allows users to set up projects, add cameras, select an AI model, and configure species alerts to notify teams when target wildlife is detected.
Developed for LJMU Conservation AI Research Group , TrapTrackerRT currently supports UK mammals, Sub-Saharan African mammals, and North American mammals. The application is free for non-commercial use and released under a Creative Commons licence, making it ideal for conservationists, researchers, and citizen-science projects.
